Just one block off the Lafayette-Moraga Trail, this charming Creekside Cottage provides easy access for a pleasant walk or bike ride. 20 minute walk from downtown where you can enjoy numerous restaurants and shops. The 2-bed, 2-bath cottage is 7 minute drive from the Lafayette BART Station where you can catch a quick train ride to Berkeley, Oakland, or San Francisco.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Back deck w/ cushioned seating GENERAL: Heat and A/C, washer & dryer w/ detergent, linens, towels, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers. PARKING: Off street, on the gravels in front of our property We live in the main house on the same lot. The fully detached cottage is set towards the back of the property line, around 30 yards from the main house. You may hear or see our family when we are in the backyard. The cottage and its surrounding area including the creek are smoke-free and pet-free.

Other Details to Note

If you would like cleaning service during your stay, we can help you book with our cleaner at your own expense. As the cottage often serves as a monthly rental (which is reflected in the lower price), we will provide supplies (i.e. coffee, paper towel, toilet paper, detergent, etc) for the first week or two only. If you stay for more than 30 days, you will need to buy your own supplies for the rest of your stay (no refills). This does not apply to short term bookings of less than 30 days for which we will provide supplies for your entire stay. If your reservation request is far in advance, we may not be able to accept it, as we aim to minimize gaps between stays. For stays shorter than 40 days, we can typically accept reservations only if they fall within a couple of weeks of the most recent occupied date shown on our calendar. We are sorry in advance if we can't accept your reservation request.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood so please no noise after 10 pm, and no parties at any time. No shoes in the house and no pets. No smoking in the cottage or on the property. Please take out the garbage and run the dishwasher (if applicable) before you check out.

Lafayette is a gorgeous small town in the East Bay with pristine air, trails, and outdoor spaces. It's a very family friendly neighborhood with some of the best schools and in the Bay Area.

Guest Access

You have access to the entire cottage minus one closet for cleaning supplies. You also have a private deck and can use the path down to the creek. The grassy area and the large deck are not for guest use.

We had the best stay with Adam and Minha! They were incredibly accommodating and made everything so easy for our family. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and instantly felt like home. We especially loved the access to the trail—it was perfect for getting outside with the kids. They also stocked the cottage with so many great coffee options—Keurig pods, a drip coffee maker, everything! It was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings even better. Adam and Minha were so responsive and friendly throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Beautiful location - loved the access to the trail just one block away & close to downtown. They were INCREDIBLE to communicate with & made the stay feel easy. Home was just like a tree house! Only drawback, is space is tight (if using sofa bed). Overall, 10/10 experience and would return back to their Airbnb ☺️

We had a wonderful 6 night stay here for our family vacation with our two toddlers. The home had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with full sized appliances and having a washer and dryer was a huge help with the kids. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, making it a relaxing place to come back to each day. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. I would definitely come back the next time we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam and Minha's place. It's peaceful and quiet, in a beautiful setting surrounded by oak trees. The location is convenient, just half a block from the Lafayette-Moraga regional trail and close to downtown Lafayette. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Adam and Minha were great hosts. They were quick to respond and were clear in their communications. We would definitely love to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I loved that it sits back under the trees and by the creek. So peaceful and private. Very clean, bed was comfortable. Looked just like the photos. This is a great location too as it’s easy access to both downtown Lafayette and Walnut Creek. I would definitely stay here again!
